World’s Richest Bride Ties the Knot

British heiress and socialite Petra Ecclestone, the 22-year-old daughter of former Armani model Slavica and billionaire Formula One CEO Bernie Ecclestone, exchanged vows Saturday with businessman James Stunt in a three-day event just outside of Rome. World’s richest bride finally ties the knot.
The wedding took place at Castello Orsini-Odescalchi, the castle where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wed in 2006. The bride arrived to the nuptials in a white Rolls Royce and wore a gown by Vera Wang for the outdoor ceremony.
Eric Clapton and the Black Eyed Peas performed for 350 guests – including the Hilton sisters and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – at the wedding reception, which also featured fireworks and an acrobatics show. Their engagement party in London in May included a performance by Rihanna.
"The wine and champagne list was really out of the ordinary – even for our standards," a employee of the company that catered the reception tells PEOPLE. "Exclusive French wines were flown especially in."
A media darling in the U.K., Ecclestone made headlines in the States in July, when she purchased Aaron and Candy Spelling's former home in Los Angeles for $85 million. "The Manor" is the largest residence in Los Angeles County.
Ecclestone works as a fashion designer and will release her new Starks handbag line in the States this fall. She had meningitis as a child and now serves as an ambassador for the Meningitis Trust. She and Stunt have said publicly that they've signed a pre-nuptial agreement.

Each nation in the world has its own unique and different customs and traditions of celebrating a wedding. So, how is wedding organized and which traditions are common in such Islamic country like Morocco?
Morocco is the country with very rich and active traditions, one of the gems of the North Africa. Moroccan wedding is a great gala event like other cultures all over the world and is celebrated with great fun and festivity. In Kingdom in Morocco the traditional wedding is quite meaningful and an elaborate process. As a rule the wedding process lasts from 4 to 7 days and there are many pre-wedding ceremonies that take place before the actual wedding.
According to Muslim traditions parents choose groom or bridegroom for their children. Before wedding everybody sends presents and gifts to bride. On modern and big Moroccan weddings presents and gifts can be even cars, different Morocco property, such as houses, apartments and villas. Long time before marriage all necessary things for newly married couple such as a mattress and blanket are taken to the bridal chamber.
Traditionally on the wedding day in Morocco a bride bathes in milk and then her hands and feet are painted with henna. Such purification process has history of more than 200 years. But modern tradition for brides in Morocco is to apply henna to the wedding guest palms. In the night before marriage the "henna party" takes place and the older, married women share the secrets of marriage with the bride. Another woman applies all putting make up and jewelry on bride and then the bride can put on her wedding dress. Moroccan brides always wear elaborate headpieces and veils for the wedding.

On the day of wedding plenty of food is prepared for all the guests expected and even unexpected. Traditionally the groom together with his family members, friends and relatives move towards the bridal party and they are singing, beating drums, and dancing. Then they all lead the groom and the bride to the bridal chamber. Sometimes the Moroccan bride circles her marriage home three times before wedding ceremony.
Nowadays modern Moroccan weddings usually take place at big villas at night or other fascinating Morocco property that are solely rented out for weddings. Morocco bride changes dresses and matching jewelry several times during her wedding celebration. Very often during the reception, the groom makes his way in a noisy procession to collect his bride. When he enters the house, he is hoisted onto the shoulders of his friends or onto a horse and his bride is carried on a table or cushion. This procession usually continues until the couple reaches the nuptial chamber.
During the week after wedding, the newly weds visit their relatives and friends and invite to their new home. Until today, everywhere in the world marriage is generally seen as the most important decision in life, both men and women can make. Because of this, the whole affair is very expensive, elaborated and sophisticated.

When Is It The Right Time to Get Married

With celebrity wedding fever hitting all time high, there are a large number of women wondering if there boyfriend will pop the question. However, not all women want to get married, or remain undecided. While most men need quite a bit of a push. So, when is it the right time to make the commitment? What do you need to know first? Read the point below to find out if now is the right time to get married.
Are you in love?
Maybe there are many reasons for getting married, peer pressure or because you have kids. Truth is, there is only one reason why you should get married: You’re in love. As long as you love someone it does not matter what life throws at you. If you are unsure whether or not you’re in love, you’re not. If you are unsure if your boyfriend loves you, you’re not.
Are they your final emotional destination?
Marriage is something to be taken seriously, do you really want to be with this person? If you have found someone who loves you and you love them back you are blessed, people spend lifetimes trying to find the love of their lives. Don’t throw that away.
Are you just sliding into it?
Do you really want to get married or are you just sliding into it? Marriage is a mistake that’s hard to get out of unscathed – whether that be emotionally or financially. Being in a loveless marriage is something nobody should have to put up with. Don’t just get married because your mother is nagging you.
Do you just want a big day?
They say the most important day in a women’s life is her wedding day. I like to think this isn’t true, but it is still something women, and men! After the dress, the presents and the honeymoon you will have to spend the rest of your life with this person. Not really worth one glamorous day.
Do you know each other? Does the other person listen?
You have to know the person you are marrying. Can you communicate with them? Can you talk openly? If you tell your partner that something annoys you do they make the effort to change? If someone love you they will do anything they can to keep you around, they will care about your thoughts and feelings. You also have to accept the other person, good and bad.
And another thing…
Talk about finance, children, future goals together. It’s okay to be nervous, to be unsure, relationships are hard, but if you really love the person you are with, what are you waiting for?

Details Reveal of Kim Kardashian’s Wedding!

As the days dwindle down to just a precious few before Kim Kardashian’s Aug 20 wedding to Kris Humphries, the Kardashians are helping Kim with the finishing touches for her perfect day. After all, with a big family that’s as close as this one, everyone has to be  involved.
Naturally, Kim is leaning heaviest on her beloved sisters Kourtney, 32, and Khloe, 27.
Kim’s so happy,” Khloe joked to OK!. “Honestly, Kim is someone who has thought of her wedding from the day she was born.”
Likely one of the most prepared and calm brides of all time, Kim has still kept her sisters involved in all of her plans. The girls have tasted wedding cakes with Kim, given their opinions on the menu and music, and chimed in on all the wedding attire.
Khloe, who planned her own 2009 wedding to Lamar Odom in just nine days, explains that Kim and Kourtney “were both my maids of honor, so Kim has to do the same for us.” She has been a huge asset to Kim, both for her knowledge on which wedding experts to use and her upbeat but practical advice.
If something goes wrong, just relax,” Khloe has advised. “Marriage is about you and your husband, not the flowers or the guest list.”

Know About Muslim Wedding Culture

If you are attending the wedding of Muslim friends or are new to the Muslim religion, it's important to know about the wedding culture so that you can extend the proper etiquette and adhere to the rules of the Muslim society.
Muslim wedding can come into many types, one type of marriage may involve a gathering of family and friends, while some individuals may choose to have a wedding with one or two witnesses. A ceremony is not a must for a Muslim marriage to be valid.
If a Muslim bride and groom decide to have a wedding, it is usually held at the bride's home. The groom and his groomsmen are expected to arrive at the bride's home well before the ceremony. Small gifts may be offered to the groom by the bride's family, but the groom is also expected to give cash gifts to the bride's cousins or sisters.
Then it comes to the leading role of Muslim weddings, wedding dresses.

A Muslim wedding dress is often a dressier version of the accepted dress for women in that particular country. In many countries, such as Saudi Arabia and Iraq, women wear an abaya in daily life, as well as to their wedding. While a daily abaya is usually a plain black garment, a wedding abaya is often in a lighter color, with more details. A wedding abaya can be white, pink, blue or something different, according to regional tastes and customs. Some wedding versions have a contrasting lace color over the abaya, or embroidery on the top layer.
In some regions, a wedding dress that is closer to the Western wedding dress style is allowed. These dresses are white silk or satin and feature a high neck and long sleeves. These dresses use a head wrap or headpiece that is separate from the dress to fulfill the Islamic need to cover the hair. The wedding veil is attached to the head covering, creating a Western-style sheer veil in the back.
In India and Palestine, bright-red wedding dresses are popular among Muslim brides. These generally take the shape of the local customary dress. A Muslim bride in India would wear a dress made like a sari, with a veil matching the dress worn over the head. These usually feature a bright-red background with a contrasting color embroidered over it in small, intricate patterns. In Palestine, Muslim wedding dresses are belted at the waist and feature a dark-red background, with a pattern over it in a contrasting color.
To keep a wedding dress looking modest, most Muslim wedding dresses feature high necklines, sometimes extending up above the collar an inch or two. While Muslim wedding dresses in India may leave the arms visible, in most Islamic countries the custom is to wear long sleeves and sometimes a long veil that extends from the neck over the hands to cover them. In very religiously conservative families, brides often wear gloves that coordinate with their wedding dress color.

Wedding Customs in America

Traditions and customs complete a wedding while giving it more essence and significance. Weddings in America are just as diverse as the couple who comes together to share their lives forever. Weddings often take place in a church with family and friends in attendance to help celebrate the joyous occasion, also they can take place in chapels scattered throughout the U.S., most renowned in Las Vegas. Whatever location you choose for your wedding ceremony, scroll down this page to know more about the wedding customs in America to offer your wedding a richness and completeness.
Something Old, Something New
A very common American wedding tradition, brides generally make it a point to wear or carry something old with their wedding attire. A probable wear will be a family necklace or bracelet. The American brides generally follow a blend of old with the new. It is also typical to carry with her something borrowed from family member and wear something blue.
White Wedding Dress
For an American bride it is a must to wear the color white for her wedding. A white wedding dress symbolizes purity. The custom of wearing a white dress for wedding was popularized since the Victorian age. It was worn to represent affluence ass it will be worn only once. The color ivory is also accepted for wedding dresses presently. Some brides even opt for the color black which however, was considered a taboo in the last decades.

Bridal Bouquet
The bridal bouquet also forms a significant part of American wedding as the flowers signify the emotions of the bride towards the wedding. In earlier times the bride use to carry herbs and spices instead of flowers. It was believed that the strong fragrance of the flowers will ward off the evil spirits in and around. However, presently beautifully designed flower bouquets have replaced the bouquets of herbs and spices. Some bride even carries significant things with her like, rice stalks and small branches of a special plant.
The Veil and the Bridesmaids
The veil along with her wedding dress is a must follow wedding custom of the Americans. In earlier days, the bride use to cover her face with the veil to distract the evil spirits from her way. The bridesmaid also surrounds the bride to keep the evil spirits at bay. Some couples still flow this age-old tradition for her wedding.
The bride can choose what color that the bridesmaids will wear.  The color usually coordinates with the other themes of the wedding, such as similar to the color of the flowers chosen.  The bride should also think what color flatters the bridesmaids.  These days, it is customary for the bride to decide what color and fabric the bridesmaids will wear, and the bridesmaid will then choose the most flattering style for herself.  Some brides choose the other way around, they choose what style the bridesmaids will wear, and the bridesmaids wear different colors of the same style dress.
Wedding Cake
Wedding cakes are not just dessert  to be served to guests during reception.  The wedding cake is cut together by the couple during the wedding reception.  Then the husband and wife exchange bites of the cake.  This is the first act the couple does together as husband and wife.
Fruit cakes stand up better because of the volume added by the fruit.  Fruit cakes are especially great for multi-layered tiers as it can hold the weight of the tiers.
Chocolate cakes can present a problem.  Couples are expected to exchange bites of the cake and smile for the photographer right after.  Brown smears on the teeth or face will not be flattering on pictures.
Fondant cakes also hold up better, even during warm weather.
Three-tiered cakes can be practical.  Bottom layer can be eaten at the reception, middle layer can be distributed for give-aways, and the top layer can be saved and frozen for the next big occasion, such as the first wedding anniversary or the baptism of the couple's first child.
Enjoy the bliss of wedding with American wedding customs and entwine the spirit of traditionalism with the new beginning.

Star’s Summer Wedding Fever

This summer’s celebrity wedding season has already brought us numerous beautiful wedding dresses, from Kate Moss’ romantic John Galliano dress to Reese Witherspoon’s pink Monique Lhullier to, of course, Kate Middleton’s stunning Alexander McQueen gown fit for royalty. Let's take a look back at the summer 2011 styles that have made it down the aisle so far.
One of Britain’s most fashionable women, Kate Moss, did not disappoint with her wedding dress for her July 1 nuptials in St. Peter’s Church in Southrop, England. The slinky dress, embellished with rhinestone embroidery, was inspired by Zelda Fitzgerald’s dress. But it was not without controversy: The dress was designed by longtime Moss friend John Galliano. While Moss hasn’t commented on what made her choose the disgraced designer, photographer Roxanne Lowit said, “Kate was always there [for Galliano]. She was like his family, his sister, his muse.” The Galliano dress was not the only one Moss wore at her wedding: Stella McCartney designed the model’s first-dance dress and the party dress that Moss wore at the reception.

For her second marriage, Reese Witherspoon chose a pink, not white, wedding gown. At her March 26 wedding to agent Jim Toth, Witherspoon wore a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown with a lace corset bodice and full tulle a line skirt. The gown was embellished with a double-face silk ribbon with silk flowers, which matched the dress for the maid of honor, Witherspoon’s 11-year-old daughter, Ava, who wore her own custom-made Lhuillier dress. For the reception, Witherspoon wore another Lhuillier gown—a white silk minidress with a party skirt.
With an estimated two billion people tuning into her wedding, all eyes were on what dress Kate Middleton would choose for her royal nuptials. The future Duchess Catherine of Cambridge chose a dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The gown was an ivory and white silk gazar with hand-embroidered English and French Chantilly lace and 58 organza-covered buttons snaking up the back. The v neck featured long lace sleeves and a train that measured nearly nine feet. Middleton changed into another McQueen dress for the queen’s luncheon, a strapless white gown with a sweetheart neckline, a circle skirt with embroidered detail, and it was all topped off with a white angora bolero cardigan.
Ugly Betty no more, America Ferrera wore Amsale's Christos’ dress for her June 27 wedding to Ryan Piers Williams on her co-star Vanessa Williams' lawn. The ivory strapless gown, made of lace and tulle, had a drop waist and a tiered pleated tulle skirt. Ferrera accented the dress with jewelry by Fred Leighton.
The Friends With Benefits star may not be walking down the aisle anytime soon with her former longtime boyfriend Macaulay Culkin, but Mila Kunis got to play bride this summer anyway. Filming a wedding scene for the upcoming comedy Ted, Kunis wore a strapless mermaid wedding dress embellished with lace to "marry" Mark Wahlberg on-screen.

The July 2 wedding of the late Grace Kelly’s son, Prince Albert, could not have been anything but elegant. After a long romance, he married Charlene Wittstock, who wore a Giorgio Armani Privé gown. Made of off-white duchess satin, the straight-line dress was embellished with floral embroidery and had a long train and crossover detail that formed a second “à l’andrienne” train. Armani said in a press release that he wanted to “go for a completely modern look, without any obvious sense of nostalgia or revivalism.”

For country stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, only a Southern wedding would do. The singing pair married on May 14 at the Don Strange Ranch outside San Antonio, Texas, and Lambert went traditional and kept her dress in the family. The bride wore her mother’s wedding dress and custom-made Casadei cowboy boots. Wedding planner Kathy Best told Us Weekly that the pair wanted the wedding to “to reflect their personalities—old fashioned, laid-back, and fun.”
There’s nothing like pregnancy to trump a wedding, but British singer Lily Allen still managed to shine at her July 11 wedding to Sam Cooper at St. James Church in Cranham, Gloucestershire, England. Cooper announced Allen’s pregnancy at a wedding breakfast and dress designer Delphine Manivet confirmed the news. Manivet designed a vintage-inspired, long-sleeved, empire waist wedding dress, which consisted of an underdress, covered by a lace gown. Allen topped off her look with a 1920s-inspired full-length veil with floral embellishments.
The wedding may not be happening for The Hills’ Kristin Cavallari, but she still had the opportunity to have a bridal photo shoot for Life & Style. Just two days before the MTV reality-TV star and her former fiance, NFL athlete Jay Cutler, broke off their engagement, she tried on gowns and talked about her plans for what was to be a traditional wedding. "I want a romantic, mystical wedding, with lots of flowers," Cavallari told the tabloid. Though it may not be with Cutler, hopefully, she’ll have it one day.
